We are a professional pet care service that will ensure your beloved pet is well taken care of, never lonely and happy. Whether you have business travel, a hectic work schedule or an upcoming vacation, Taildate can provide everything your dog, cat or other critter companion will need.
We offer daily dog walks, drop-in pet visits and local pet transportation service. Let Taildate help make your life easier by providing quality care that reassures peace of mind.
Rates are time-based and include any and/or all of the following: walk, run, potty break, medication administering, fresh water and feeding, playtime, companionship, brushing, litter box change, pet clean up, visit report, plant/flower care, package/mail retrieval, garbage/recycling bin rotation. Rates include up to 10 mile commute, one-way. Anything beyond and up to 15 miles will be subject to an additional fee. Additional dog is $6; Additional cat (beyond 2) is $3.
*Beyond 10 mile radius will be charged $30 base rate. $20 base rate per trip within 10 mile radius, plus mileage based on 2024 standard mileage rate. No charge for additional pet(s).
11 to 15 miles one-way will be subject to an additional fee upon assessment of route.
30 minute initial meet and greet is free IF you book with us prior to or during our meeting. Our 30 minute rate will apply if you decide not to book with us.
If a lock box is unavailable, please provide at least one tested key during the meet and greet. If one is not provided, key pick up/drop off service is available at $20 per trip.
Holiday Service Fee will apply to the following: New Years Eve & Day, Memorial Day Weekend, Independence Day, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Day.

Taildate accepts bookings on a first-come, first-serve basis. Service bookings should be made at least 48 hours in advance of your first desired date. We understand that emergencies arise and last minute bookings will be taken into consideration based on availability and may be subject to an additional fee. Service contracts must be signed prior to first day of service.
Overnight cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will be subject to 50 percent of the total amount due. Walking/Visits/Transport cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full rate or rescheduled at the discretion of the Walker. *If you return home early, charges for the rest of the dates scheduled will still apply. No credits will be applied unless it was discussed and approved prior to the scheduled dates.
Please text or call us at 919-867-4195 to notify us when you are returning home. If we can’t get in touch with you, we will continue to care for your pets until we have made contact with you. There will be a $10 charge for any additional, unscheduled visits in addition to the regular service rate. This also applies if we arrive at your home and find that you have returned.
Please leave ample cleaning supplies, extra paper towels and trash bags when going away. Our supplies are limited and we prefer to use the cleaners and products that you and your pet are comfortable with.
Payment in full is requested prior to or on the first day of service via cash, check, Zelle, PayPal or Venmo.
Please note we have done our best to ensure fair and comparable prices for the valuable and professional service we provide to you. Should you have any questions regarding our fees or policies, please feel free to discuss them with us.
